Sunday Mornings

High School Students are encouraged to come to the youth center during the first service at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings for a small group study that is geared towards students and directed by scripture. The class is a great opportunity to meet other students, dive into scripture and Bible stories, and season their faith. All are welcome, from the first time visitor to the church member.  Most of our high school students attend the second worship service at Lakeshore.

"Hydrate" is our youth group meeting for High School Students. It takes place in the youth center on Sunday nights from 5:00pm till 8:00pm. The first hour is designed to hang with friends or meet new ones while playing cards, basketball, or games -- followed by a time of worship lead by our student praise team, which leads into a topical discussion about everyday life decisions and struggles and ends with gender divided groups for deeper discussions. This is a very open and safe group setting that allows for new comers to join in and provides biblical purpose to the choices facing teenagers, developing their character and leading them into a deeper relationship with Christ.

Each month there are several opportunities for stuents to assist with community outreach.  We connect with Youth For Christ (YFC) ministry on Thursday evenings at Rocketown from 6-8pm for Family Dinner outreach, and on some weekends for community events. Also on Tuesday nights at Rocketown Skate Church is from 6-8pm.
